Hex Runner
One button. One tunnel. Don't blink.
How to play
Hex Runner is a one-button tunnel runner. Your glider hugs the inside wall of a hexagonal tunnel that never slows down — hold any key, mouse button, or your finger to slide clockwise around the ring, release to stop, and thread the gap in every oncoming gate. One hit ends the run, and your score is how far you got. Survive long enough on a stage to unlock the next of six; each one starts faster and wears its own colors. The daily tunnel is the same for everyone and resets at midnight UTC.
Tips
- Release is a move — braking early beats overshooting the gap.
- Read the second gate, not the one in front of you.
- The tunnel only turns one way. Plan the long way round before you need it.
- Steady pace in settings is the same game with more time to think — train there, then switch back.
Why play
It's a reaction time game you can play with one hand, one finger, or one key, in rounds short enough to fit between anything. It runs in the browser on any device — no accounts, no chat, no downloads, free — and the stage system means an easy start that only gets as hard as you ask it to. Every stretch of tunnel is guaranteed passable, so a crash is always yours to beat.
FAQ
- How do I play?
- One control: hold any key, mouse button, or your finger to slide clockwise around the tunnel — release to stop. Thread the gaps. That's the whole manual.
- How do stages work?
- Survive 25 seconds on a stage to unlock the next one, forever. Moving on is your choice — stay put and your stage keeps getting faster instead. Later stages start faster and look different.
- What's the daily tunnel?
- Once a day, everyone in the world gets the same tunnel. Your best distance on it lasts until midnight UTC, then a new one arrives.
- Is it ever impossible?
- No. Every stretch is checked for a flyable route before it reaches you. If you crashed, there was a way through.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Bests live in your browser. No signup, no downloads, free.
